Ryder started his show career at 6 months of age at DCA in Denver where he placed 3rd in the 6-9 Puppy class under Judge Esme Treen. WD and RWD came from this lovely class of dogs. He also was shown behind his sire for a 3rd place in the Stud Dog class that year.

Shown very sparingly, Ryder went RWD following the Cumberland Valley specialty under Judge Mary Kline and WD at the Detroit specialty in June, 2000, under Australian Judge Anita Easton. Ryder was WD and Best of Breed over specials under Judge John Allen at the Sandusky Kennel Club show, August 2000.

We are very proud of this young dog. Ryder has the blackest eyes we've ever seen, gorgeous pigment, beautiful side gait, a rear to die for and the sweetest temperament you could ask for.
