Last night I saw the loneliest man in town
He'd come to the show where he lays his money down

He'd buy some friends if I had money to burn."

He couldn't find a job 'cause they'd shut all the factories down

Tonight I saw the loneliest man in town
He came to the bar and he laid his money down
He had pretty girls by his side and a big ol' jug of wine
He said "it helps if you've go money to burn."
