Facility

The Barracudas can be found floundering around the Main Square Community Centre. The facility is an airy, well-lit 25 metre, 6 lane pool. The water is warm, but very clean. Lockers (25 cents) are available and there are a few kickboards and a bag of pull buoys. Warm showers, too.

Coach

Jason - full of enthusiasm and a great motivator. A man with a plan - technique, build up the distance, work hard !

An early morning bunch …

• Tuesday and Thursday - 0630 to 0730

Fees

The programme is run by the City of Toronto and as such operates on a 12 week cycle. The cost for each 12 weeks is $149. You may contact the Rec Centre 416 392 1070 for more details. Registration is limited, and there may be a waiting list.

The Masters Swimming Ontario fee of $25.00 requires a separate cheque and registration.

Location

The Main Square Community Centre is located at 245 Main Street, Toronto, at Main and Danforth (between Woodbine and Victoria Park). Abundant parking is available at the adjoining Canadian Tire and underground behind the apartment buildings.
