Just the name made me want the watch…”The MacGyver Watch”…but when I learned all it could do, I had to have it. I opted for the black, 1GB version…saved up for 6 months, and found it on sale on Amazon.com--$150!!! There are cheaper versions, depending on the size you want…256 MB, 512 MB, etc.

So here are the things I like about it after owning it for 2 months: Everyone wants it! Every time I show it to someone, they want to get one. (If you’re a girl, this may be a great way to impress a guy…hint, hint.) I love the fact that the USB cable fits right into the wristband. The flash drive works perfectly and just as quickly as my old flash drive…which I gave away. I use it almost every day. The MP3 player, which by the way also plays WMA’s, sounds great. It is not too bulky, which I feared when I bought it and is lightweight. I haven’t used the digital recorder yet (too busy to read the instruction manual), but it holds 75 hours of voice recording, so I’ll try it out soon. The last cool feature I’ll mention is that the watch charges itself…just plug the USB into your computer and let it charge.

Here’s what I don’t like about the watch: The earphone jack is the same size as one you would use in your cell phone, so it has been hard to find a converter. Also, I have to take it off when I type, which is normal for watches I hear.

All in all, the pros far outweigh the cons, as you can see. I no longer need an MP3 player or a flash drive….my watch does it all. That sounded kind of nerdy, I know. With all the gadgets, I wonder if they’ll let me take it on the plane.

Sincerely,
