"He's moving! Dude! We did it! He's fricken alive!"
Not the most poetic things to wake up to but it's a human voice non the less.
You little by little gain back the ability to move. You're still dead blind but your other senses are coming back.
"Alright. Take him out!"
You hear a massive release of air from somewhere. You feel your body starting to warm up.
"Get him outta that thing!"
You begin to raise and turn around. You seem to be in some kind of electrically controlled chair but you still can't see.
You begin to move your lips, chin and tongue, but none of your other appendages see to be working. You try to talk but it feels like you've been out in the Sahara Desert for a month without water.
"He's regaining some motor control." The voice grows louder. "Ash, if you can hear me, do something, blink."
Blink? You can't even open your eyes. Or are they open already? To try and respond you flick your tongue, making a snapping sound.
"Good, he can hear us. Alright, activate thermal responders." You're whole body shivers as a wave of heat comes over you. You can move your left arm more easily now. You work out the kinks in your face by scrunching it into funny faces.
"Alright, time for the completion of the ressurection." You hear clicking of buttons and machinery. Then you black out.
You awake again, fully mobile, a little stiff though. You're in a hospital gown, sitting in a metal chair in the middle of the room. You seem to be blind.
"I can't see!" You yell. "Cell! Where are you?"
You hear some commotion infront of you.
"He's still blind? Ok, activate the heat sensors. The infared. Hit it!"
With that a red flash comes over your eyeballs. You can now see infared, body heat only."
"Don't worry Ash, we're fixing you up." You see a scientist come up to you from the other side of a glass window.
"Ash, you're in the year 2012. Something went wrong in the portal way to our time and you died. Apparently transporting to the future took too much out of you. Master Cell said that your death was without honor or any pure amusement, so he set up this project to ressurect you. Tell me Ash, what is your last memory?"
