It's too damn cold to chase someone in your underpants.
You quickly run to your room and put on some pants, socks, boots, and a shirt. You run back to the door, pick up your chainsaw and run for the staircase.
You push over the old man in your way and run all the way down to the ground floor. You run through the lobby, nothing. You run outside, nothing. You check around the corner, down the street, in the alley, nothing.

Nice Job Ash, you just let a deadite get away!
