Reporter: Any opening statement, Allen?
Iverson: Yeah, we played with heart, you know. That's all you need to know, you
know?
Reporter: Allen, what happened at the end of the game with Kobe?
Iverson: I mean, why don't you ask Kobe? It's just basketball, you know? Just
talking man. I mean, I'm not going to repeat everything I say to every other
player out there, you know. Cuz we got heart, you know?
Reporter: Why were you clapping at the end of the game?
Iverson: Cuz we got heart, you know? I mean, we play hard, we never give up.
We're the only team in the league with heart, you know? Heart wins over talent
every single day of the week, you know.
Reporter: Allen, what did you think about Fisher's defense? Did the Lakers
defense bother you?
Iverson: I mean, you saw the game, you know. What do you need me to tell you?
Reporter: But what did you think of their defense?
Iverson: What you want me to say? I feel the same way after every single game. I
play with heart, you know? I'm not going to score over 40 every game, you know?
I mean, even though I said I would, it's just not going to happen, you know? Not
to take anything away from Fisher but I can't remember when was the last time I
only went to the line twice, you know? I just feel I'm not getting any respect
from the refs, you know? I mean, don't think I'm whining here. I'm not, you
know. I mean, the refs have the hardest jobs in the world. Even though it's a
little suspicious why I only went to the line twice. But I'm not whining, you
know, just telling it like it is, you know? But I got heart and the refs can't
take that away from me, you know?
Reporter: How do you feel about going back home? Do you feel you'll win all
three games at home?
Iverson: Of course I do, you know. I mean, I feel like we can win every single
game against them, you know. I mean, what you expect me to say, you know? Cuz we
got heart. We can win every single game we play because of our heart, you know?

Reporter: Allen, do you think you earned the Lakers respect?
Iverson: You saw how we played the last two games. With heart, you know. We
never give up, you know. Now they know they're in for a war, you know. The team
with the strongest heart is the one who'll survive this war, you know? They said
we played with 1000% in Game 1, I wonder what they thought we played with after
tonight, you know? I mean, we play the same way every night. With heart, you
know?

Reporter: Allen, did you let this game get away?
Iverson: Of course we did, you know? I mean, we had a chance to win the game,
you know. But we got heart. I mean, everyone think the Lakers will come in and
dominate us. Well we should be up 3-0 right now cuz we got heart, you know?
Reporter: Allen, why weren't you clapping at the end of the game?
Iverson: Cuz we got heart, you know? My hands were hurting from taking so many
shots so I let my heart do the clapping, you know?
Reporter: Allen, why do you always bring your kids with you to these interview
sessions?
Iverson: Cuz I got heart, you know? My kids, they my heart, you know?
