DISCLAIMER: Sprites in Limbo has always been controversial. However, rarely does it venture into the realm of current events. My decision to make a comic that combines humour with the London bomb tragedy of July 7th has been met with hostility and indeed offence. While normally I would adore causing offence, this particular comic is not about mockery. Far from it. I, like most sane people, consider the bombings a colossal tragedy. In fact, I was a day away from being on the King's Cros train. Thus, I have felt the need to post this disclaimer about the following issue of SiL. This is a comic about tolerance, not about mocking the victims of this horrific terrorist attack. So please, do not look at this issue if you feel it will offend. And if you DO click it and are offended, don't email me complaining. Thank you. |
