  My Renault 19 16V


The car in question is a Renault 19 16 Valve with 137 BHP as Standard this has been increased to a optimum estimated 370 bhp at the fly.

Exterior.



 



The body has William's badging one on the bonnet, one the tailgate and one on ether side.  Gold striping and gold phase one wheels.  I know it sounds a bit mank but only three people to date have said the gold styling does not look good.  The majority of people like the styling of the car the gold does go well with the William's blue metallic paint work.  The spoilers and splitters are again all standard apart from the front splitter which had a close encounter with the ground at around 130 mph when the suspension bottomed out .  Not that I speed the accelerator got stuck (honest).

Rear sticker proclaiming "Death Wish 13 January 1996 - 13 January 2001" (don't ask means nothing to you means something to me).  When I purchased the car and people were told about the extensive modifications a lot of people kept being told that the car would kill me.   This is due to my track record where cars are concerned comas etc. blah blah blah.  Then one day a colleague and friend turned round to me and said "I hate to say it sukh but that cars gonna be the end of you".  The friend in question was Jim bob Papworth ( a psychopath in the moulding himself, he has the 130 bhp Metro) who I have known for a few years now.  I liked the sound of that and decided to have number plates made up which are as follows.

Top of number plate: They say this car will be the death of me....
Bottom of number plate: But at least I will die with a smile on my face!!!!!!!!!




 


If you ever see this man call the police immediately , he is at large and has a driving licence !!!!!!!!!!!!(just about).

Interior.

All mainly standard.  The only modifications have been a aircraft style switch to power a certain system and a fire extinguisher to save my car if that system catches fire.  Full leather interior has now also been added and one leds in each door so when the alarm is on there is a total of six various leds.

Brakes.

Standard vented discs at the front with solid rears and fast road pads.  I still as I have been told numerous times need to discover what that middle pedal is used for.

Ice.

Again not a major modification area but I prefer a car to be fast more than anything else.
I have a 400 watt Sony amplifier powering a 12 inch pioneer sub in a ported box.  Sony head unit with 10 disc auto changer and four Kenwood 2 and three way internal speakers.

The Engine.

This is where the thick end of £5000 went.


Power was boosted from 137 bhp to approximately 240 BHP at the wheels.

Work and parts were obtained by the following fine automotive maniacs.
