 Attack1/ataek/ verb to go and fight against or harm someone: The newspaper attacked

(=wrote things against) the new tax.

 

Attack2/ataek / noun Fighting; trying to harm someone: an attack on the soldiers.

 

Emperor1/emperor / noun a ruler of a country or several countries

 

Empire2/emperor / noun a group of countries ruled by an emperor.

 

 Lakes1:/leik/n large area of water enclosed by land.

Mount1 : /maunt / verb. To climb up something; to get on a horse or bicycle.

 

Mount2 : noun. a mountain, usually used in names: Mount Everest.

 

Mountain :/ mountain/noun. Very high hill: Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world.

 

Reserve1/rezerv / verb  (present participle reserving, pat reserved ) to keep something for someone: I have reserved a room for you at the hotel.

 

Reservation /rezervashen / noun: if you want to go to the concert, youll have to make a reservation, or there will be no tickets.

 

Reserve noun 1an amount of something that has been stored: We have large reserves of oil. 2 a place where wild animals live and are protected: Africa has many game reserves.

 

Reservoir /rezervwa:/ noun a place where a lot of water is stored: This reservoir gives water to the whole city.
