Bizzare Ending to Conference Matchup

It came down to Kansas needing and 80 yard drive win the game with 1:30 remaining in the game, twice.

Texas A&M took the lead 20-19 with 1:30 remaining in the game. The Jayhawks then drove to the Aggies 35 yard line with 35 seconds remaining. On the next play the Kansas running back fumbled the ball. On the Kansas side of the game, as the running back tried to recover his fumble and the screen quickly faded into a nice purple color. On the Texas A&M side of the game, the Aggies would now see the Kansas running back recover the ball ten yards behind the line of scrimmage and then dive forward while dragging a pile of tacklers 25 yards to the Texas A&M 20 yard line.

After discussing the situation it was mutually decided that Kansas would replay their final drive rather than continue at the Texas A&M 35 yard line. This drive would see Kansas drive pass mid-field and then throw a 35 yard TD pass with 18 seconds remaining, giving Kansas their 6th win in a row and moving them in the #1 Ranking.
