Stanford Disposes of Kansas
After a miracle win in game 1, Kansas had two crushing last second defeats in game 2, and 3. Kansas rallied from 17 point deficits in game 4 and 5 with a chance to win both in the final seconds. Stanford wins the series 4-1
Game 1 The Prayer at Palo Alto
After last years crushing loss to Stanford in the Frame Skip bowl and a loss to Stanford in 2004 regular season, the Jayhawks were out for revenge.
The Jayhawks went up 20-17 with 1:24 remaining in the game, however Stanford drove to the Kansas' 5 YARD LINE, with 16 seconds left and no timeouts.
Stanford can kick a FG and tie the game and force the first ever overtime game in Bill Walsh history, or they can take a few shots at the end zone first, but Kansas can end the game with a single tackle.
For those who didn't see the highlights, Stanford was at the 5 yard line with 16 seconds and no timeouts, chose to run it against a sell out punt block defense, and hand off to the running back, who ran to the 15 yard line and was able to fake back inside against a wall of 3 tacklers and get those 15 yards back for what looked to be the winning score.
Kansas got the ball with about 13 seconds left. After a 10 yard pass, and Nebraska offsides, Kansas had a final play from their own 35. A HB pass to the right, the HB was able to dodge at least 3 or 4 tacklers and leaped into the end zone at the very end with defenders on him for the winning TD with no time.

Game 2
Kansas comes back from a 31-14 deficit, to take the lead. They hold a 35-31 lead with about 1:25 left. Stanford is held to 3 incomplete passes, HAS NO TIMEOUTS, and has 4th and 10 at the 18, the QB drops back to the 2 yard line and throws a shotgun pass to the back who is a pile of linemen at the 15. The back scampers to the 28 yard line, where the chains come out. 1st down Stanfrod.
With 14 seconds left and still NO TIMOUTS, Stanford snaps it from the 28 yard line, and throws to the left corner to the reciever at the 10 yard line who can't be tackled by 3 defenders and runs in for the winning score.

Game 3
In the first half Kansas held a 17-7 lead, Stanford was able to stay in it with a 3rd down hail mary. Reminiscant of Doug Flutie, the Stanford QB scrambled around for 15 seconds and launched it from his own 45 to the Kansas 10, where a crowd of Kansas defenders tip it into the air, floating to the goaline, the Stanford WR catches it for a TD. This is one highlight you have to see.
Kansas had the Stanford offense shut down in the 2nd half, with 4 picks. Stanfrod has the Kansas offense shut down to, but Kansas led 20-14.
After a Stanford pick, in Kansas territory, the Kansas QB ran backwards and instead of passing (no passing windows) dove into the ground for the 3rd time in the half. Kansas was held to 4th down. With a minute remaining, Stanford has no timeouts. Kansas put in the audible to punt, and was ready to kick from their own 30.
However, the to audible to punt didn't work, and the Kansas QB ended up running backwards and getting sacked at the 15 turning over the ball to Stanford, who scored an easy td, and with less than a minute, Stanford led 21-20.
In the finals seconds Stanford tacked on a gimmee td, and safety.
