So I got my ticket to see Siouxsie Sioux on the 17th. Rock on! It also means that I got to actually meet the one person from the DCFreaks board who goes here to AU (she had ordered both tickets so we could save on the processing fee). The bad part was that I kind of made an idiot out of myself, since the conversation got quickly awkward and I didn't do any of the number of things I thought of immediately afterwards that would have fixed it. I basically said, "This just got really awkward, so I'm going to go back up to my room." Yeah - go me. Sigh.

A random thought. Grunge is supposed to have essentially killed off glam rock/metal, right? Or at least that's the general theory. But think of it this way: Kurt Cobain is dead. What grunge bands are there out there now that still consider themselves grunge? Are there any? Now on the other hand, Poison is on tour with Winger, Cinderella, and Faster Pussycat. The Cult still tours, as does Ratt, and however many others. So to recap, grunge killed itself, and glam rocks on \m/

In two days, I recieve what may be the best package ever. In order of coolness... Laws of the Hunt, Laws of Ascension Companion, Exalted: The Dragon-Blooded, and *Drumroll* Neon Genesis Evangelion Perfect Collection. I have to go change my boxers everytime I think about it. Sasha is visiting this weekend too, which is also good news for the boxers. No one else really appreciates them.

Speaking of Exalted, it looks like all the games are going to happen next year. I hate people. I've never gone this long without being in a game. Ever. Need... fix... now... For that reason, considering trying to run a small LARP next year here. Just an idea at the moment. Need to get the Wraith game off the ground so I have something to do. Grr. Why can't someone else run a game for once?

A little bit of redoing is going to have to occur in the poetry section at some point. I need a way to separate poems that are new because I just wrote them from the ones that are new because I just remembered them and decided to type them up. Hm. Maybe separate them all into college and pre-college. Not sure exactly yet, and its not an issue until I type the next old one up.
