"And when she's pressed she will undress..."
--Pure Morning, Placebo
Lately I've been kind of stressed out. Yesterday was particularily bad, as I had to study for a completely insane midterm, write a slightly less insane paper, and found out that Sasha isn't going to visit me this coming weekend. Boo. So I decided that, to counter this, I decided to do an entry on all the stuff lately that's making me happy.
Please ignore the fact that it's a day late. This is not the date you're looking for.
First, since it's recent, there was an altercation which brings me much amusement. Ben and Robert are roommates. Both are people who I would cheerily spit on if my slightest effort could save their lives, unless I was in a good mood and instead decided to make them my slaves in exchange for the help. Last night, Ben, the less odeous one, for reasons that are really unimportant, threw a glass of water at Robert, and then the glass itself, cutting him below the eye. The following message was then sent by Chris to Robert.
News Flash - Justin likes you now so much, as long as you continue to abuse your roommate. Daniel gives a heart thumbs-up to the cup and face incident as well. As Justin so aptly put it, "And Wrath Week goes out with a bang."
So there was much joy. On we go. For those of you who saw the riot last time, it comes courtesy of Blumpy.org, a wonderful wonderful site courtesy of some mad genius named Jacob. I learned of this courtesy of Matt at Haverford, who happens to be the Easter Bunny in Santa vs The Easter Bunny. Sheer bloody poetry. You should download everything on the site, with the exception of The Ginch.
Moving on. Some random points: Brian Fellow's Safari Planet is wonderful. I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell. I love Sasha, and I wuv Cristl. DayGlo Crazies are cool and I have their CD. Bruce Weigl is great poet. Jesse said I reminded him of David Bowie in this journal entry.
People here at AU are stupid. Here's a paragraph from the sample lab report that Chris is supposed to model his work after. This is from a real student, as selected by his TA:
I really enjoyed the lab. Although I was hesitant at first, the fact that we used physical representations to explain psychology was pretty neat. It was simple and made sense. This experiment was true to form , because although as long as our group, the axons in our body are very long. I think once the lab is split into two smaller groups the labs will be more complex, and as long as they are as interesting as this past one - everything will be fine.
And for the coup de gracey. Porn And Chicken is a wonderful, wonderful movie. Saw it twice the night it came out. Kudos, Comedy Central. There's one problem with this movie: It'd never work in real life. We don't really care. We are going to film a porn movie. Stop by or otherwise contact us if you're interested.
And then there was a riot.
Keep sending donations - I could really use them.
