Background:
When he was 4 year old, a war rage between a small youkai vilage and the kingdom of Gunryo. At the end, the youkai were out numbered and eliminated, only Kuji was still alive and a knight of Gunryo decided to raise him. He received good education and training and he was secretly training his special ability in the cemetery. Even if life was nice, he was always remembering where he came from. At the age of 22, he joined the Black Cloud knight under the direct command of the king of Gunryo. He was soon kick out of the knighthood for disrespesct of superiors orders, injuring a comrade and killing innocent people. He replied to them that all the killing done where in order to purify the world. In the next 3 years, Kuji was killing whole village in order to great an army of Undead to clean the world from all sin by simply eliminating everything.

Relax and calm to keep a perfect control on his undead pets. Always thinking before acting. Like to try to manipulate others.
