| CRITIQUE OF MARTIAL ARTS Those who desire to live free not only from the state, economy, religion, sexism, racism etc but without psychological oppression as well, to the extent where one can act on ones own impulse and desires in direct connection to ones inner wild, a state where symbolism and psychological suppression does not exist- must identify and destroy all forms of alienation and specialization to attain such an existance. Martial Arts (the forms which require a teaher or master) is one form of alienation and specialization within our alienated existence, therefore continuing the present capitalist mentality within the present capitalist social structure. One is required to act according to how they was taught by their master or teacher- therefore (due to the need of learning from a dictated outside force, rather than ones own creative inner) creates a class of those who use the specialized subdivision of Martial Arts and the class of the physcially and psychologically exploited who do not. Such classes creates hierarchy on a social student/master domesticated relationship as well as a physical level and therefore, due to such alienation and specialization, such forms of martial arts create- must be dismantled. |
