| STATE OF FEAR AND METHODS OF F.B.I. IDIOCY Each and every one of us has grown up living constantly in the eye of an all-knowing authority. This system constantly keeps watch of what we say, what we wear, who we meet, were we go, who our friends and loved ones are, what politics we believe, what we eat etc. etc. It is all knowing, all watching, yet each one of us conceals the power to destroy it. It is the system of civilization. It emerged through symbolic mediation (time, art, language, number) and developed through agriculture and industry to the present alienated technocracy. Its only purpose is to induce fear- the perfecr ally for the forces of order. And it is this fear that the rulers take advantage of. We are afraid to act different, afraid to say what is challenging, afraid to look different, afraid to be an individual- not the "individuals" of present society (celebrities, the rich, personalities- these types carry forth and fuel the fear and indifference of civilization) but a true individual, looking beyond that of our domesticated present, the wild within ourselves. Our own uniqueness unifluenced by society is what will begin to dismantle the authority that which was once forced and now we place above ourselves. Intersetingly this fear also affects our rulers. Is it ever a wonder why oppressors such as the FBI hold overarching mega organized super-techno meetings and raids on small non-threatning environmentalists and anarchist groups? They have been imposed with the same fear and insecurities as we- and when they hear of the "enemy" anarchists, environmentalists etc. they envision a monster created by their own fears. A defensive reaction to the trauma of their imposed symbolic mediation and authority. This fear and authority will forever deny them to see the world as it truly is, and they will only continue to fight the only way they know how, by continuing to protect the very machine that controls our thoughts. Thus they ironically are not part of the system but ruled by it as well. Civilization spares no one- not even those who enforce it. As long as we acknowlwedge this and do not fall into the trap of our own Big Brother, we will always find a way to destroy it. |
