SCRIPTURAL STEPS TO SET PEOPLE FREE FROM CULTS
The following scriptural steps cannot be entered into casually. Effort, participation and time will be required on your part. If you are not prepared to give of yourself, now is the time to withdraw. However, if it is your heart's desire to set free in Jesus' name someone who is lost in a cult system, then get prepared for a blessing! Scriptures are not fully quoted in most cases, so you will need to search out these verses and become familiar with them in your own Bibles.
You Need Help!
Recognize that you cannot proceed in your own strength, but you CAN do all things in Christ's strength - Phil. 4:13.
You must be 'Born-again' to proceed - John 3:7.
If you are not sure you are 'Born-again' or 'saved', you can avail yourself of this as a free gift from God - Ephesians 2:8-9 - by taking the following steps:-
(a)repent or turn around (Acts 3:19-20)
(b)confess Christ and believe (Romans 10:9-10)
(c)receive Christ by praying and asking Him to come into your life as your Saviour and Lord (John 1:12-13).
You must have the Holy Spirit operating in your life. This is also a free gift. Ask the Heavenly Father for the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13). The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth in the Bible (John 16:13-15).
