The Difference Between Me and You

Me: I can't understand why you organize your clothes by color. Must you always have order, even in your closet?
She: I can't understand why you leave those clothes lying on the floor. They get dirty and wrinkled, and lost in the clutter.
Me: I don't know why you are Daddy's little girl, why not me?
She: I don't know why Mom loves you more. She says she doesn't, but I know it's true!
Me: I can't help but be jealous of your shiny, straight hair. Everyone notices it, they never seem to see mine.
She: I can't help but be jealous of your brown skin in the summer, so easily tanned by the sun. I’m either white or lobsteresque - never in between.
Me: I don't see why you just can't finish writing your essays. There is only so much I can help you with. I can’t get into your brain to see what you are thinking.
She: I don't see why you can't balance your own checkbook. You have a calculator, is it really still that hard?
Me: But, despite our differences, I do know why we get along so well...
She: Because together, our parts make a whole.
