My name is Mandy L. Wallace. I recently moved to the Rochester, New York area last summer with my new husband Mike.
Mike works at Eastman Kodak and is a chemical engineer. I am currently a substitute teacher. I am also looking for a permanent elementary teaching position for the fall of 2001.
I am a graduate of Slippery Rock University of PA. I studied Early Childhood and Elementary education and also minored in special education. I student taught in an urban teaching program in the city of Pittsburgh. I was placed in a first grade classroom and was able to remain there my entire 16 weeks. After graduation I taught pre-school for about 4 months before moving to Rochester.
My interests include reading a variety of books, collecting picture books, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
