You respect me as a person. 

You answer my questions and don't lie 
I can disagree with you and it's okay 
When I want to learn something you show me how 
And then you let me do it. 

When I like something you get me books about it, 
Or take me where it is, 
Introduce me to people who do it,teach it,or have it. 
You let me be me. 
And you let me find out just who me is! 

You even let me be mad at you. 
You aren't a grownup. You're Mom!"
