ZOORAMA VERBOSA

I have so many words in me

Jumbled, tumbling, leaping over one another

Bursting from my chaotic thoughts like anxious beasts

I try to hold them back; cage them in

Loud, angry retorts devour soft, loving pleas

Burning, passionate rememberings, mating, produce new lines

I stand in my mind with whip and chair, but in vain

Out they rush

Noah's Ark liberated

And once again I talk too much.
