Chapter 1 Jeff sighed loudly as he pulled the bucket of mail from the back seat of his car.  He had been married to Kari for almost a year and this was the first time that she had been away from him for a substantial period of time.  Kari had been gone for two weeks already.  She was on location in Spain, filming a new movie and he missed her like crazy.  Although he talked to her at least once a day if not three or four times, it just wasn’t the same.  He would have flown over seas to see her, but he only had two days off of work himself.  All his errands were done, so he thought he’d check their P. O. Box for fan mail.  That day, there was only one bucket where there was usually two or three.  Jeff set the box down in the middle of the living room floor and began to sort through it.  He would make a pile for himself, a pile for his brother Matt, and a pile that for those things that were addressed to the both of them.  As he was doing this, he heard the front door open and called, "I’m in here!" "You checked the mail?", Matt asked entering the room.  Jeff never checked the mail, that was Matt’s thing - he loved fan mail. "Yeah but there wasn’t that much today.", Jeff said as he threw a large envelope into his pile.   "That’s cause I checked it yesterday when we got home.", Matt explained as he sat down on the other side of the bucket of mail and helped his brother sort it out,  "Has she called today?".  "Yeah.  I talked to her early this morning, before she headed out to the set.", Jeff said running his hand through his hair, "God, Matt!  I miss her like crazy."  Matt chuckled, "She’ll be home before you know it.  And back on the road with us."  Kari had spent almost the entire year that she had taken off from film making on the road with her husband and brother-in-law.  And since she had left, there was an empty space in their traveling.  Even Matt had noticed the difference.  "What the hell is this?", Jeff said staring at a letter that he had taken from a large envelope that he pulled from his pile.  "What?", Matt inquired.  "This is a letter from some weirdo saying that they are glad that Kari was gone.  That now this person could have me for themself.", Jeff said with disgust. Matt just shook his head.  The guys were use to overbearing fans, but this one was going a little too far.  Matt insisted that Jeff shouldn’t worry about it and eventually Jeff gave in and put the thought out of his mind.                           Next Chapter ..*..
