EVERY PRINCE'S GOT HIS PRINCESS by Enola

You, your boyfriend and a couple of friends of yours are on holiday in the Arabian peninsula. For the 3rd day you have planned to go to the desert with camels. You leave very early in the morning because your guide told you it's better come back before 10 am to avoid the hottest hours. Although it's only 8 am, the temperature is already very high, but as you all are enjoying the journey a lot, you don't care about that at all. While you're ridding your camels through the desert your guide suddenly stops. He seems very worried and nervous. After a while he says you have to go back at once because a sand tempest is coming. He points at the horizon to show you what's happening. You manage to see a light brownish blur which seems come closer and closer to you. Your guide orders you to go back immediately and let your camels run as fast as possible. But since camels aren't very quick, a strong wind reaches you in a few minutes and in a little while you don't manage to see anything because of the sand. You and your friends are really frightened. You scream your boyfriend's name and he does the same while the wind blows stronger and stronger.

You wake up in a bed in a dark room. Just few light enters from a small window. When you get up you realize you're not wearing your clothes, but a loose piece of clothing below your ankles. You reach the door very slowly, try to open it, but it's locked. You scream and pinch it. After a while the door opens and a woman comes in. She doesn't say anything and opens the curtains. You immediately cover your eyes with your hands to protect them from the light which now illuminates the whole room. You ask her who she is, where you are and where your friends are. At the beginning you think she doesn't understand what you said, but after a bit she answers, talking in English, that you are asking too many questions and she adds you'll have all the answers at the right moment. For now, she can just tell you her name: Leila. Meanwhile a girl enters with a tray of food, so Leila tells you to eat, then she'll come back to talk to you. About a quarter later she comes back to your room. She's a really pretty woman in her 40's with long black hair and deep dark brown eyes. She says you are in the royal palace and that her brother is the sheikh. When they found you, in the desert, there were nobody else, so they thought your friends died buried by the sand. You burst into tears because you don't want to believe that your boyfriend and your friends are dead.
You have been staying there for one week and the only person you've met is Leila. She always is very kind with you, but she goes on avoiding to answer to your questions: you want to know when you'll be able to go back home, why you can't ever leave that room…and so on.

Some days later she says it's the right moment to tell you everything. She says you will never go back home because your family has probably accepted the fact you're dead. Moreover, as you are a very pretty girl you'll become one of the sheikh's lovers! When you hear that you fell deeply sad and you don't want to accept your destiny. Shouting at her you say you'd prefer to die instead of sleeping with her brother. Leila says you are obliged to because otherwise his brother will sell you to someone else. The day after Leila announces you're going to *meet* the prince that same night, so she teaches a couple of things you have to do: 1) you don't have to speak for any reasons; 2) you must do everything he asks you to do.

You spend hours and hours laid on your bed crying and holding thigh a pillow thinking of what it's going to happen in a few hours. Just the thought you're going to have sex with an old-fat-perverted-pig makes your blood freeze.
Some hours later, Leila comes to help you to get ready and she reminds you once again the things you have to do. Then she drives you to the prince's room, opens the door and lets you enter, afterwards she leaves closing the door. The room is very big and almost dark. There's just a lamp near the bed. After a bit of total silence you hear a man's voice which tells you to go closer. You don't manage to see anyone in the room, but you walk slowly towards the middle. That voice is very quiet and clear and from its sound you realize that it belongs to a quite young man. When you reach the middle of the room you stop to wait for other instructions. Some seconds later, he appears opposite to you, but he's a bit far from you and darkness doesn't allow you to see his face. He slowly moves towards you. Now you manage to see him quite well. He's got short dark hair and a beard.
When he gets close to you he brushes your cheek and your hair and says, "You're more beautiful than I thought."

You look at each other for a while and you get immediately lost in his amazing dark eyes, in his special shape and in his long eyelashes… He puts his hand behind your head and pulls you closer to him and he kisses you with strength, then he stops and putting his hands on your shoulders he pushes you on the bed and comes over you and kisses you again with the same strength while his hand handles your breast. Suddenly his kiss gets sweeter little by little and he strokes your hair gently, so you start to feel at ease. He keeps on kissing you even more sweetly for a while, then he stops and going away from you, he says,
"Leave!" This amazes you deeply because you don't understand why he wants you to go away, so you don't do or say anything, but after a while in an angrier way and without looking at you, he says "I said leave!"

You immediately get up and leave the room running and rush to yours. You find Leila there. She's amazed to see you, but you immediately tell her crying you don't know why the prince chased you away.
The next morning, Leila comes to you and says you don't have to worry about what happened the night before because it wasn't your fault if her brother sent you away. She also says that you are allowed to leave your room for a couples of hours every day to spend in the royal palace gardens. Obviously you're very happy about that because you can't bear to feel like a caged animal any longer. You tell Leila you want go to the gardens immediately and she's happy to go there with you. Those gardens are of an unbelievable beauty. There are a lot of kinds of plants and flowers, roses, daisies, begonias…so you feel really happy when you can stay there.

One day while you're cutting some flowers to bring them to your room, you are stung on the hand by a bee. You scream Leila's name to help you because you're allergic to bees stings and you could even die if you aren't treated at once. You wake up a coupe of days after in your bed. You are really confused because you have a high fever and don't remember anything about what happened to you. Leila tells you everything and smiling at you she reassures you that everything's alright and you'll be fine in a few days. As you still are really weak you fall asleep once again and when you open your eyes some hours later Leila isn't there; someone else is sat near your bed, the prince. At first you think you have hallucinations caused by the high temperature, but you realize he's really there when he says that medicines worked because your fever reduced a lot. You ask him where Leila is because you need her help and he kindly replies that she's busy, but she'll be there soon. He asks you why you need her, so you shyly reply you are thirsty but you don't manage to reach the glass placed over the table near your bed. At this point he smiles slightly and says that's something he also can do. In fact he grasps the glass and he leans gently its rim on your lips. You raise your head a bit and he immediately puts his hand under it to support it while you're drinking some water. When he removes the glass a drop slips from the corner of your lips over your cheek, but he promptly wipes it with his thumb and brushes your cheek for a while looking straight at you with those sweet shining eyes. Then he gets up saying he has to go and that he'll tell Leila to go there at once.

Time passes quickly and you feel better day after day. You haven't seen the prince anymore because as Leila told you he's abroad on business.

One day Leila comes to you and tells you she has wonderful news. She tells you her brother phoned her saying that you'll able to go back to England whenever you want to. You should be happy about that because you miss your family a lot, but you also like stay there because you consider Leila as an elder sister by now and the thought to leave her makes you feel miserable. Leila understands the way you feel because she loves you too, but she says you have to go back home because that isn't your country, you belong to a total different culture and she's sure you won't ever be really happy there. So you decide to wait for the prince's return, but Leila tells you it'd be better to leave before because he's going to stay away for at least a couple of months.

You are at home now. You came back one month ago and you feel you don't belong there anymore. Obviously, your family was in seventh heaven when you got there because they never gave up hope of seeing you again, but your boyfriend, who's not dead, did…and he has a new girlfriend.

One night you switched on your computer and write this email to Leila.
Dear Leila, it's 3 am and I don't manage to sleep. I miss you so much. I don't manage to stop thinking about the time I spent there with you talking and laughing as we knew each other for ages. But there's something I've never told you, it's something about the prince. I have thought of him a lot lately and I don't manage to stop anymore. I think I'm falling in love with him and I'd be ready to go back there if only he wanted me to, because I'm sure, I could be happy only with him. Please Leila, write me soon, I need you too much.

The day after when you check your mail you find a short message from her. She announces she's going to be in London in a couple of days.
You knock at the hotel suite door and after a while it opens and Leila appears. You hold each other thigh and you don't manage to avoid to cry because you're so happy to see her. You both sit on a sofa holding each other hands and you talk for a bit. Then she says she has a surprise for you, so leaves the room. You get up and start walking nervously. A couple of minutes later you hear the door opens again, so you turn to see what's Leila's surprise and…you get paralysed with astonishment, happiness or something else. The prince is there in front of you. You can hardly recognise him because he's wearing a pair of blue jeans and a light blue shirt. You stay there totally still unable to speak or do anything else.

"You too here?" you managed to say a while later,
"Leila printed your email and left it on my desk, she wanted me to read it." He says walking towards you slowly and goes on, "Do you really want to stay with me?"
"Yes I do" you reply, so he wraps you in his arms and you hold each other tighter and tighter.
"Are you really sure?" he asks "You'll have to renounce lots of things…your life will change completely…you can't wear jeans…you'll have to learn Arabic…you'll have to convert to Islam…"
"I don't care at all about jeans…I'll learn Arabic and I'll become a Moslem" you reply smiling staring at him then you turn serious and add "And what about your harem?"
"Harem? Which harem? I don't have any harem anymore"
"Really? But you can have more than a wife, can't you?" you ask with sadness, "Well…ehm…yes…I could have several wives…but I also can have just one, if I like"
"And…how many wives do you want?" you ask nervously,
"Just one. Just you." He whispers before to kiss you passionately and you start to unbutton his shirt, but he stops you, "We can't do it" says him,
"Why?"
"We aren't married and we can't do it! Do you remember when you came to my room that night? I'm sure you asked yourself why I stopped…well, that's the reason…I stopped because as soon as I saw you I understood you weren't like the other women and if I didn't stop I couldn't married you now."
"Oooh! That's incredible! When will we marry then?" ask you smiling.
He laughs, "Well, you have to do something before as I told you a while ago!"
"Damn! You're a prince, you can change rules after all" you mutters disappointed,
"I'd like to, you don't know how much I'd like to change rules, but I can't" he replies really sorry.
You grasp his hand and say, "Ok, let's go!"
"Where?" he asks,
"To the airport! I can't waist my time here, I have a lot of things to do…learning Arabic…becoming a Moslem…"
"Well, actually I'd like to spend some days here…going to Westminster…to Piccadilly Circus…"
"You're joking, aren't you?"
"Yes…I'm joking…We can come back here for our honeymoon after all!" says him finally, then he kisses you again…
