Short Message Sending (SMS)
Raul Hipe employs the SMS function of his cellular phone to send daily thought-provoking messages accompanied by the measuring stick of Scripture. So that the quote is either affirmed or corrected by the Word. This started when this young father tried to think of a good way to maximize the 300-peso (US$6) phonecard value before it passed the 2-month limit. He says the response has been varied and surprising:

"For many years I made it a habit to note down a pieces of wisdom or inspiring phrase. So when this tech came along, I went looking for that collection. So now, I keep my eyes open more, from magazines, news, conversation. I did forewarn people before I started. People replied "thank you" "that's inspiring". In turn I am more inspired upon knowing that people forward it to others. Someone in Cavite I sent, anonymous, replied, "Who's this? The text you sent applies to me right now, in this situation I'm in!" To ’evangelical’ minds, I sent something about God's law. One replied, "Man, I think you used the wrong verse. You should've quoted James." I replied "Why? Is the theology of Paul and James different?" I always reply in a question. On it went. "Didn't Paul say the law is holy, just and good?" He sent back "Exactly, we can't keep the law on our own. That's why we are not supposed to keep it." Replies like that put us into a dialogue using the Bible. It's a way to provoke people.

The Workplace
Servillano Miguel, an elder who had craftsman-level skills in construction, carpentry, used to take along copies of assorted helpful reading material, every time he went to a jobsite. Aside from always being prepared to give an answer, he always had a ready store to leave behind for people to browse through. Then on he went to the next job.

Maria Regina Buendia, a government planning officer, had for years been the object of office intrigue due to her refusal to tolerate questionable practices. When people saw that she did not waver, they started asking her for advice about their troubles. With provisions, she is also able to give copies of the Bible to those who need one.
Handmade Books
Arnold Miguel, recently baptized, and Raul Hipe, put their artistic talent to use in making Handmade Books and Posters. Using bold strokes and bright colors, Arnold has made posters and illustrations of Biblical stories, verses, and principles. These are posted in the hall on the Sabbath, for children to browse through. The brightly-colored illustrations help children learn the difference between, for example, clean and unclean animals.

Books
Isn’t it always extraordinary whenever your mind is on something and you turn to that particular place in Scripture you absolutely needed to find, but you didn’t know was there? Or when God reveals or provides something, not before, not after, but at the exact time you need it. It happens often in the fellowship. Like recently, while we continue to ask God to teach us how to truly keep the Sabbath, the way it was meant to be. While we continue to study Scripture, Raul Hipe found, two mind-expanding books, The Sabbath, by Abraham Joshua Heschel, and Christ the Healer. The one on the Sabbath, particularly.

Atis Seeds
While marveling at the abundance of harvest from the atis (custard apple) trees, Priscilla Cardona observed how one fruit can yield at least 20 seeds! Then she had a thought: “Indeed, that’s probably also why we’re told to bear fruit, because even one fruit can yield many seeds!” And really, that’s an aspect of bearing fruit we don’t usually think of. That in bearing fruit to glorify our Father, we would also be sowing seeds in other people.
