2005 Season

It's coming! Before we know it, we will again be gathering at the WR&PA rifle range to launch a new season of COWBOY ACTION SHOOTING - YEHAW! Rumour has it that there will be a bunch of new shooters and it's sure gonna be nice to get together with the "old" crowd again!

Before the first shot goes down range, we need to start pulling the season together. As she said last fall, ol' C.J. isn't gonna be doin it all by herself this year - it's time to spread the joy and get others involved in putting together a match. The more folks what's experienced in writing and conducting a Cowboy Match, the stronger Cowboy Action Shooting will become in Manitoba.

So this is the "pulling it together" page and we'll keep it updated as often as necessary.

Please volunteer (with friends if you prefer) to write 5 Stages for our monthly matches this year. If we have unclaimed Matches by 1 March, "volunteers" will be ASSIGNED from last year's membership list!

Please submit your Stage Scenerios to Calamity Jane as early as possible to allow time for review well in advance of Match day. Review is required to ensure match timing and allow for a safety review. Once you have written a match or two reviews will not be necessary.

We have 1 Shotgun knock-down with can-thrower. The can-thrower can not be used because of the baffles at the rifle range, but it could be used as a shotgun knock-down.
