Scotland Fall Semester 2004
The University of Wisconsin Dalkeith Scotland is located in Dalkeith Palace, which is in the small town of Dalkeith Midlothian scotland.
While residing at Dalkeith Palace, we had many opportunites to travel through out Scotland,in addition we were able to explore europe as well. This program takes you beyond the books and lets the world become your class room.
You live, study and clean the palace with 70 people who started out as strangers, then friends, and become like family, this this can be the best semester of your life.
I know it was the best decision I have ever made by far and it is the one that has taught me the most about myself and about the world.
Scotland Rocks!
Edinburgh is the Capital city of Scotland and each year in August it plays host to more than 11 festivals, hence its title of the Festival City Capital of the World.
Edinburgh is split between the old town and the new town. The new town starts on Prince Street and the old town is centered around the Royal Mile
We're just two mid-western girls out on the town enjoying the festival
At night most of the buildings are lit up during festival
MelRose Abbey in the Boarders of Scotland
Kat, Meghan, AmandaJean and of course Stacy are enjoying the views of the Scottish country side, from atop Melrose Abbey
If one has a country home, they must have a garden to stroll through.
Meghan thinks flowers are stupid, but she was a good sport and went for a stroll any way.
Thanks Meghan's mom for taking the picture
