THERE
WERE TWO CARS.
there
were two cars. two voices.
two girls stopped by the fence, seeking
explanations,
which i
readily provided - then they were gone.
the pills streamed out of my mouth
my
stomach ejaculating.
the pleasure of being lost in the woods.
the
memory of his naked body beside me, quivering.
i called out his name but he was hiding-
playing
games, why didn't he come?
from a tree wept a dark rag.
here now
- gone the next moment.
the
forest played it's tricks.
nearly
dead i awoke
&
drove home - my stomach rejecting it's own
precious
poison.
later,
blood crept from my mouth in spasms, &
the
black coal.
i awoke
in the hospital w/ 100 white faces
staring
through my veins.
