Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Sai Ram!

I have requested Dr. Venkataraman to provide information for all Overseas
Sai Centers regarding the Radio Sai Satellite Broadcasts which are now
associated with a new website and a regular newsletter publication.  The
transmissions are made available through agreements with different
satellites in different parts of the world.  In certain areas there is a
small charge imposed by the satellite for use of their technology and access
to our service.

There are no fees associated with the use of the website and the newsletter.
Please cirulate this letter and the following information sent by Dr.
Venkataraman to all Overseas Sai Centers so that Sai devotees may avail
themselves of these services.

Sincerely,
Michael Goldstein

ABOUT RADIO SAI GLOBAL HARMONY AND ITS SERVICES

Radio Sai Global Harmony is the radio service managed by Prashantinilayam,
and is meant for spreading Swami's Message of Universal Love to people of
all continents. This service is being made available in many different ways
as follows:

" To the people in Asia, the radio programs are beamed by the Asiastar
satellite of WORLDSPACE, 24 hours a day. This service inaugurated by
Bhagavan Baba on His Birthday in 2001, has been running non-stop ever since.

" To people in Africa and Europe, a special service was launched in April
this year, and is available on the Afristar satellite of WORLDSPACE. This
service too runs 24 hours a day. The programs offered on this channel are
not the same as on the Asia service.

" Together, both channels carry: Divine Discourse, Bhajans, Interviews,
Talks, Festival Radio Reports, etc.

" In addition, Radio Sai brings current news. Efforts are under way to bring
this within 12 hours of happening. For example, once these efforts are
complete, a Discourse can be heard all over the world within 12 hours at the
most.

" For the benefit of people who are not under the foot print of the
WORLDSPACE satellites [especially people in the American Continent,
Caribbean Islands, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji], Radio Sai offers a web
radio service. To receive web broadcasts, one does the following:

First log on to: www.radiosai.org .
On the Home page, there are many windows. Look in Download.
The download page will then pop up and show the radio programs currently
available for download. This means the listener can tick the programs he or
she likes, and download these programs into the listener's hard disc for
subsequent use. Alternately, one can use the playlist tick boxes and select
programs ONE WANTS TO HEAR. The web site will compile these programs and
start streaming them. The listener can just sit back and listen to the
programs on the loudspeaker.

Making use of new high-bandwidth facilities being made available here,
efforts are under way to organise a 12-hour special streaming service to
American continent. If this comes through, then a listener in that continent
has to just log on and keep listening! He/she can do this for 12 waking
hours, and every day, there will be different programs, just as we have on
the Asiastar and Afristar services.

The Radio Sai web site also has a fortnightly news magazine entitled HEART
TO HEART, that devotees are certain to find interesting. This too can be
viewed by logging on to the website mentioned above.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Sai Ram!

Recently, the Sanathana Sarathi has begun to include uplifting Sai Events
from the State Organizations within India.  The State Presidents in India
submit articles describing salient events within their states to the All
India President.  The All India President then reviews the articles, selects
those that he deems most inspirational, and sends to Sanathana Sarathi for
publication.

The Editor of Sanathana Saratha has invited the Overseas Sai Organizations
to contribute to the Sanathana Sarathi in a similar manner.  We will
certainly do so!

Therefore, I request that all Central Coordinators send to their respective
Zone Chairmen brief articles regarding inspiring events that have taken
place in one of the countries for which they are responsible, ideally 2-3
paragraphs in length.  The Zone Chairmen should then review and select one
or two articles from his/her zone and send them to me.  I will then also
review and select and send the most representative articls to the Sanathana
Sarathi.  We will do this for each issue and should try to find events
taking place in as many coutnries as possible over time.  I would like to
receive the first articles from the Zone Chairmen by October 18.  They may
be about events that have taken place with two months preceding October 18.
Your cooperation is appreciated.

Sincerely,

Michael Goldstein
