To clear the table that contains CDP information about neighbors, use the clear cdp table privileged EXEC command.

This command has no arguments or keywords.

The following example clears the CDP table. The output of the show cdp neighborscommand shows that all information has been deleted from the table.
Router# clear cdp table CDP-AD: Deleted table entry for neon.cisco.com, interface Ethernet0 CDP-AD: Deleted table entry for neon.cisco.com, interface Serial0 Router# show cdp neighbors Capability Codes: R - Router, T - Trans Bridge, B - Source Route Bridge S - Switch, H - Host, I - IGMP Device ID Local Intrfce Holdtme Capability Platform Port ID
