Pa and I live in the small town of Smith Center KS. in the "Heartland Of The U.S." Infact it's just about 15 miles to the "actual center" of the U.S.It's a rural area with farming and ranching,but I don't think Pa's garden qualifies as a farm and the only livestock we raise is a miniature Dachshund named Maggie May and her only job is to "keep her eye on the refrigerator" But she sure is good at it.

We're just plain folk,who love Jesus,adore our 6 grandkids and enjoy the slower pace of small town life.

I love to knit and truly enjoy seeing each new pair of slippers or other items as I finish them and I'm sure you'll love them too. Pa enjoys gardening he's getting ready to get this years crops in can't wait for the fruits of his labors. There's nothing like red ripe tomatoes or juicey cantalope, boy oh boy are they good!
So I guess with my knitting and Pa's gardening we should'nt be cold or hungry!
