To the Fans...
Jim Brungess:  It wasn't always easy to write, and I don't presume it will ever be easy to write.  It's a real challange to write these stories.  Me & Darryl love good challenges, this massive writing project surely has tested us over the years.  But when all was said and done, along with a story's completion, there was a major sense of satisfaction at seeing what was created.  I remember the stories being created to impress the hell out of either of us, seeing each others individual works was quite inspirational.  This is our gift to you & the rest of the world... the UNSF.

Darryl Mansel: When we first started out writing for UNSF, it was for us; the self-satisfaction we got from finishing a big story that had a major impact on the history of the UNSF was an unparalleled feeling.  As we developed it though and started forming our websites, we quickly realized that we couldn’t do it for us anymore-- it had to be done for those people that were reading it.  That meant we had to up the stakes more.  That meant more dangerous missions, deadlier villains, more death-defying stunts, and more romance.  We know exactly what our fans want because we’re fans of our work, too.  We think like fans...that was the whole purpose behind the Wargames series.  In fact, the Stealthlon Anthology is one of my favorite series to read; it ranks up near the top along with Star Trek and Star Wars.  So our plan is to keep cranking out the hits that fans love to read.  We know you love to read them because we love to write them.  This is no longer for us...it’s for you.
