Mentors

At first glance, nothing (we all have eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. we put our pants on one leg at a time, and need a key to start the Car, unless your a thief).... But its 2.5 lbs of matter behind our eyes that really make us different from the next guy. It involves what we do with the information that we process, as well as the information which we take in.

Ever really thought about the fact that the most truely exceptionaly successful people never finished a formal education. Give me a minute to indulge myself if I may....

    Eienstien was considered to be Retarded.
    Rockerfeller would have not much more than and                              eighth grade education.
    Micheal Dell would drop out of college to found Dell                         computers.

I am sure you get the point (I would love to hear any furthur thoughts you may have one this subject)

What truely makes these people successful is thier ability to transend above the thinking of the 95% persons in thier life. Think about this, If you take advise from a person you will get the results that that person has been able to produce.   What these people have done is go out and find a mentor that help to develop them into the person that they became. (IF it were not for Socratise and Plato, then Aristotle, tutor to Alaxander the Great, would have been nothing more than another man with above average intellegence).

Without this person to guide them on the right track they may have never amounted to anything. This Reminds me of the story that I posted on the right.

You say well thats not anything new..... I challenge you to think again.... unless your a millionaire, which good chance your not, you do something for a living.... ok.... look at the people doing what your doing that have been doing it for five or ten years longer than you.....   Is that the lifestyle you want to live.... If the answer is no, then you bought the lie a long time ago....

what do I mean..... when we were growing up the schools, teachers, parents, uncles and ants all asked what we wanted to do when we grew up, Right..... Ok then as we get older we go get the education to do what we think will bring satifaction to our life.... Then from the Income we get from the JOB that we have determins How we Live.....

Your see the formula got mixed up somehow, and only when one can see there is a better world awaiting to those who are willing to go for it, will a person be able to move to this higher plain of existance..

Take a moment right now and write down on some paper, Just how you would live your life if you had all the time and money to do as you pleased.

Somehow when we were younger we bought into a new form of slavery, not one of whips and chains but ones we bound ourself willingly for the persuit of money, we sold ourself into servanthood. I tell you there is a way out, I have found some people that took the time to show me the information that I needed to break free. And that knowledge can set you free too........

So let me ask this question of you, are you willing to spend the next two to three years learning to become a better person in this life to set you free......

Or, is it just so comfortable that you would remain bound by your self imposed bonds, until your too old to work, then spend the rest of your life in worry because of rising medical cost........   If you don't think it will happen just go visit a few homes for the elderly, and open your eyes.... you'll find that that is you 30 to 50 years from now......

I encourage you to find a mentor, that will help educate and motivate you to a higher plane of success..... You say well I am a self starter..... That may be true, but there will come a day in your life when you will need an encouraging word from a friend who will be there to lift you up and not tear you down.
