Shifu Gao Jian was born in 1953.
When he was 15 years old he started training Tai Ji Quan from his father. In 1973, he was introduced to shifu Ma Han Qing by a friend, and he started learning Wu Style Tai Ji Quan from him.
In 1976 shifu Gao Jian started learning tang lang quan from shifu Ma Han Qing, specializing in Liu He Tang Lang Quan.
He followed shifu Ma Han Qin until 1988, when he left China and immigrated to Australia.
Shifu Gao Jian obtained gold medal in the 5th international WuShu invitational tournament held in Beijing, China in 2004.
Shifu Gao Jian is ranked as 5th Duan of Chinese Wu Shu Duan Wei system. He currently leaves in Melbourne (Australia) and teaches Wu Tai Ji Quan and Liu He Tang Lang Quan.
