Maria De Olivera was mainly working Tai Ji Quan in Taiwan, then studied at the shifu Gao Dao Sheng school for a while. Maria De Oliveira had previously trained under shifu Chen Fu Quan who was another student of shifu Wang Song Ting.
She stopped training in the Mantis style around 1994, when she shifted her attention to another style.
