My Journeys

  

 

  During my stays in France, I just found out that make a journey, visiting another place, meeting and seeing the custom of different places is very interesting, that's why even though I only lived in France for about one and half year, I have made a long journey across Europe just want to know and discover the riches of this country. This days, working far away from my hometown has made me more and more passionate to make a journey.  
     
  Lille and Nord pas de Calais region  
  This is the region where I spent most of my journeys in France, I took my master degree and doing my internship in this region. Nord or especially Lille is a very nice region with a lot of old and romantic quartier to discover, you can even find a second world war shelter and old city defense systems. Common impression of this region is cloudy, grey, and not so friendly, but in fact its very up side down once you make a contact they could be very warm, helpful and caring.  

 

   

 

  Paris and Ile-de France region  
  My last hometown in France, I lived in just for about two months waiting for the result of my graduation. This city is just like another metropolis city, crowded, rush, and not so friendly but Paris is Paris, with all the magnificent building, place, and park this city can adsorb the hectic ambiance of the city and replaces with peace and warm feeling.  

 

   

 

  Toulouse and Haute Garone region
  My first hometown in France, in this city I learned a lot about the French culture, people, custom, and their favorites to spend their spare time. I stayed in IAS, it's a private residence for aeronautic student or worker, and Toulouse is well-known as the aeronautic city of France. This city has been a point of depart of my journeys to the south region of Europe include Spain, South of France, and Italy.

 

   

 

  Cote d'Azur
  The most wanted region for the tourist local and international, with the exotic beach, and the glamour city of Monaco, every one who visit this region will feel the glamour of socialist life.

 

   

 

  Alsace Region
  Well known as a region of beer, you can find the biggest factory "Kronenbourg". This region is very beautiful especially in winter season because if you are so lucky you can feel white Christmas.

       

   

 

  Benelux
  Three little country which has its attractively to visit. You will easily find an Indonesian food in this country. The passage, the culture and the community in these country are quite different with French gives more color in European custom

 

   

 

  Switzerland and The Alpes
  Mont Blanc or white mountain is the most natural attraction in this region, if you are rich enough to taste the winter game than you will never lose the opportunity to go to this region, and you will never leave this country without buying Swiss chocolate

 

   

 

  Balikpapan
  My lovely hometown for this moment as I am working with the oil company base in this city. This is very nice place to stay, your quality of family live will be better and basically it is the good city to live, the only one facility to make this city perfect is cinema.
