Sammo plays Ah-Lung, a pig farmer come to H.K. to work in his uncle's food stall. He gets into all kinds of trouble and one of his friends is kidnapped by a crazy Professor guy. Of course it's up to Sammo to save the day. The movie has a little more story than that, but that's the basics. This is the only Bruceploitation movie that Bruce Lee would approve of. It's funny and since it's starring/directed by Sammo, you know you can't go wrong. The Professor has three bodyguards; a black karate champion, a European boxer, and a Chinese kung fu expert. The Chinese kung fu guy is played by Leung Kar Yan, but the funniest is the black guy is played by Lee Hoi Sang. He's all painted black and it wearing an Afro wig, it's hilarious. He actually has a line of dialogue, but he dubbed by some deep voiced guy. I saw the subtitled version and he's still dubbed. Another good part is when Sammo gets a job as an action actor on a Bruceploitation film. He gets into it with the Bruce imitator and after kicking his ass, Sammo yells at him for doing such a bad job. Ah-Lung yelling at Bruce wannabe, "Bruce Lee is my hero. You can't destroy my idol. Try harder if you to imitate him!" Sammo then beats up the entire crew of the movie. The fights in the movie are pretty good too. Sammo is probably one of the only people who can move like Bruce Lee even if he's built absolutely nothing like Bruce Lee. This movie is great, I've seen it like five times and it's still funny and entertaining. If you watch one Bruceploitation flick, watch this one.
