Here is a bit off the back of the box.
Starring BRUCE LE
Bruce Le embarks on a perilous journey of death. As the gifted student of an eminet Kung-Fu master, Bruce Le finds love, jealousy, revenge and rage. His amazing journey leads him on a dangerous path that ends in a blazing battle to the death.
That's great and all, but WHERE THE HELL IS BRUCE LE?! He's not even in the movie! I was actually looking forward to watching a Bruce Le film, what a disappointment. I should've been suspicous when the picture on the back of the box didn't even show him. Then again the picture on the back of the box wasn't even from the movie. BEST FILM should be ashamed of themselves for passing off cheap kung fu movies as cheap Bruce Le kung fu movies. They advertise several titles as starring Bruce Le when he isn't even in the movie. They sell COBRA, THE FIERCE BOXER AND BRUCE, BRUCE IS LOOSE, and THE FURIOUS as all starring Bruce Le, so avoid these ones.
Yeah, so the movie itself wasn't too spectacular, maybe it would've been better if Bruce Le had been in it...nah! The movie was filmed in Thailand or Manila or someplace, so the fighting style is definitely different. It nice to see something that wasn't the good old punch kick HK style. Those fights seems to all look the same, especially in the cheap productions. The credits list Bruce Lei as the martial arts instructor. He is the only Bruce associated with the entire movie.
If there is anything worse than buying a Bruce Le movie, only to find it's not a Bruce Le movie, I've yet to find it. That's just a dirty feeling. Sad thing is, I've already bought COBRA, THE FURIOUS, and THE FIERCE BOXER AND BRUCE. What a waste of my hard earned money. I could've spent it on something useful like toliet paper.
