Bruce Li plays Bruce Chen, a cop on the trail of a killer who uses the iron finger technique. That is the plot right there. The movie is about 90 minutes long and about 75 minutes of that must be fight scenes. The remaining 15 minutes is just filler for in between the fights. The constant fights will help you forget the glaring plot holes, don't try to think and you'll be fine. The fighting is entertaining and I thought Bruce Liang looked the best. He also served as one of the fight choreographers along with his brother. Every scene he is in he wears this red track suit and his left hand is bandaged for some reason, but that track suit is pimp tight though. He also uses this ridiculous pose that has to be seen.
Ku Feng plays the bad guy, Hu Pao, who practices a special type of kung fu that prevents him from having sex. His slutty wife Lulu is always sleeping with guys and answering the door in a see thru nightie. At the start she takes home this other kung fu master and back at her place it's hot, so he takes off his jacket, but then she says he should take off his shirt too. After taking off his shirt he suggests they go take a shower together. Once in the shower he finally asks her name! Damn, why can't I meet a girl like that?
Bruce Li is actually listed by his real name, Ho Chung Dao, in the opening credits. I thought he did a good job and looked good in all his fights. He even managed to ignore Lulu's advances, I wish I were that strong, or maybe not... He even gets in a scene wearing an identical track suit to Bruce Liang's, but doesn't make it look as good. You can't just wear it, you gotta have the attitude.
I haven't seen a Bruce Li movie for a long time, and I enjoyed watching this one. The cheesy dubbing, fast women, non-stop fighting, and Bruce Liang's fetish for male crotch grabbing all made for an enjoyable flick. I'd watch this again, it's that good.
