A series of bizarre murders are plaguing Seoul. The only connecting factor is that at each of the crime scenes, an image of Bruce Lee is present. When the bassist of the punk band Crying Nut finds out that each of the murders occurred during one of their concerts, he sets out on a quest to unravel these unusual crimes. Who is the perpetrator? What is their motive? Why did the murders occur during Crying Nut's concerts? And, most importantly, what is the connection with Bruce Lee?

Well, after watching this abomination, I am still looking for an answer to all of the aforementioned questions. To be quite honest, when I first heard about this movie, I thought the premise was really intriguing, sort of like THE RING with Bruce Lee. Unfortunately, the entire "looking" for Bruce Lee takes up about 5 minutes of this 75-minute film. Shot on video, this ego stroke is basically an extended collection of music videos as the bassist wanders around Seoul spouting some of the most pretentious dialogue I have ever heard ("Pieces of our memories are just like dreams"). Along the way he meets several people with the encounters ranging from the absurd (a security guard who makes him re-enact a collar he did in a graveyard) to the downright bizarre (a girl who cut her legs off for a boyfriend). Meanwhile his bands mates steal a harmonica and the group sings a song while nailed to crosses. Hilarious stuff I tell ya! Towards the end there is an extended dream sequence where the bassist is dressed up like Bruce Lee from ENTER THE DRAGON but it doesn't amount to much as he just stands there waving his arms for 10 minutes. I know, maybe I am asking for too much. You know, like a coherent plot. As it stands, this is just a fluff piece for Crying Nut that plays like someone's art college video project.
