I actually watched this movie over a month ago, but just now am getting around to writing the review. The first paragraph I wrote right after I watched the movie, but laziness got the better of me and that is as far as I got. So now I'm not too sure what to write, but that says lots about the film right there. Overall, it wasn't too exciting, some parts were just boring. The only stand out part went down in the end fight between Dragon Lee and Carter Wong. Carter Wong is a friend to Dragon, but turns out he is a criminal and thief. He also has one weakness, sunlight! Dragon Lee ain't no fool and during his fight with Carter Wong he rips off his shirt to reveal a vest made entirely of mirrors. He uses the mirrors to reflect the sun into Wong's eyes and then kill him. I'm not sure who is stupider here, Dragon Lee for wearing a vest made of mirrors to a fight, or Carter Wong for not realizing something wasn't quite right. Hey, when you punch a body it's gonna feel soft and fleshy, not hard. After taking a wack of punches and kicks the mirrored vest doesn't even get a tiny crack on it. I think the whole mirrored vest would've been smashed to pieces leaving Dragon Lee cut and bleeding to death, and Carter Wong with about 140 years bad luck. Oh boy, does this review ever suck. Rage of the Dragon is one of four movies in Brentwood's Dragon Lee set, read William's review, if you dare!
