Bruce Won comes to America in search of a G.I. who saved his life in the Korean war. After getting beat up and robbed, he lands a job at dojo. He attempts to get back a vase from the thugs, but narrowly escapes with a whore in tow. After some wacky scenes the whore is captured and Bruce is forced into a televised fight in which he's supposed to take a dive. After six rounds of being pummeled, Bruce wins the match, the girl, the kid, the day, and finds the G.I.

Johhny Yune, a Korean comic, not only plays Bruce, but also wrote, produced, and co-directed the movie. Maybe that explains why it's so good! Okay it's your typical "fish out of water" 80's comedy, but it's still funny. Yune plays the comedy straight taking everything so literally. There were several funny parts. But don't go looking for a lot of fighting, this is a comedy. There's some fighting, but it's pretty sad looking. There is a fight at the end, where Bruce gets beat up and down. Robert Guillaume is only on for like a minute. And they got this Stallone look a like guy to play a character called Rocky Ballona. When ever Bruce tells someone he's named they're like, "Like Bruce Lee?" and for some reason everyone thinks he's a martial arts master. Oh yeah I forgot he's Asian, so he does know kung fu, whatever. One other Bruce Lee reference, and it's a lame one, is this kid has a dog named Kato, told ya it was lame. Anyway a decent comedy even if it did come out of the 80's, it's better than a Corey Haim/Feldman movie anyday.
