I've found a lot of conflicting information concerning this movie. First of the box has pictures of Bruce Le on the cover and on the backs says starring Bruce Le, Hon Kwok Choi, and Shek Kin, but none of them are in it. The box describes the movie as like Bruce is a Wing Chun master and everyone wants to challenge him. He is defeated by the Snake Fist Style, so Bruce learns from 3 cobras to defeat his enemy. After watching the movie I can tell you it stars Bruce Li credited as Lee Shaio Lung and some other guy that looks familar, I've seen him in other Bruceploitation. The movie is supposed to be an autobiographical account of Bruce Lee's life. It's a very loose interpretation at that.
Li plays Lee and kung fu student of some old guy. He goes to America and comes back to Hong Kong with a new martial arts style. It's not Jeet Kune Do, but something called Cheh Chin Da (I hope I got that right). He becomes a big movie star and then he dies getting in a few fights along the way. Of course it's a lot more involved than that, I just gave you the shorter version. I know it sounds exciting, but it's actually quite boring. Some of the dialogue is hilariously tacky. I was gonna put up all the funny lines, but then the list got too long. The dubbing voices are pretty funny as well, and in one part they didn't bother to dub at all. This old kung fu master challenges Bruce to a verbal duel. The describe how they attack and counter. This is all done in mandarin, so you don't know what they're talking about. Luckily its shown as Bruce and the old man fight in super slo-mo as they describe the battle. The movie is boring and slow and can't even be redeemed by the funny scenes. Not one of Li's better films.
