Over the course of the last few months, Fertath has grown considerably. He and Zh'ck have learned how to use fire stone, how to assemble tack and riding gear, and will finally learn to fly together!
Fertath has already flown on his own, testing his wing strength and learning how the wind helps the great dragons soar. It looks so unlikely, these dragons with their huge bodies and long tails, but their wings really are large enough to fly!

Zh'ck and Fertath rule the sky over their weyr! They are almost ready to head back to the Paveh Hold and put in their work for their Lord Holders, when the call goes out. There are Greens rising!
Fertath bespeaks quickly.
My friend, I must see about those greens. We must remain here at Jerdan for just a while longer. Or visit Aneris... The purest hope began to spring into Zh'ck's mind from his dragon's. He smiled a bit, but wanted to head back to the Hold!
"Fertath, there will be other Flights..." Zh'ck begins to protest, but the blue will have nothing of it! He learned from the best, after all, how to put his foot down and get what he wanted!
Zh'ck wouldn't it be great to ... have a clutch? You know? To have flown a strong, sleek green? I can't hope for the golds, I know that and all the browns tell me to get my head away from them when I even look. This might be my only chance... At least let us go to Aneris and see what the fuss is about? Perhaps... one of the riders of those pretty greens might catch your eye?
