Wormholes In The Laundry
Wormholes have always been with us,but most of them are too small to affect our everyday lives.A curious subset of this phenomenon is found in laundromats.Apparently, concentrations of vibrations caused by several clothes washers and dryers in close proximity to one another have been known to set up small wormholes, never much bigger than the size of an ordinary sock. That's why so many socks disappear at laundromats. The socks are escaping into the past.If you go to the laundromat some time before you are planning to do the laundry, you may be able to spot a sock you will be missing later. Then, when it disappears during sorting, you could pull it out of your pocket.Socks also disappear from your laundry room at home, but because there are fewer vibrations from a single washer and dryer,it doesn't happen as frequently.
