"In a day of unrest, there is little chance of finding peace worldwide. The search should not be ended simply because it is difficult. So little chance of peaceful co-existence exists in some countries that it is hard to see anything in the future but discord. In the middle of chaos one must find a circle of one's own, a center within the circle that allows for momentary bits of peace. To expect it to be longer would not be sensing the reality around the circle. Peace within is giving one's self a chance to stop, to be quiet, to know and recognize the inner life within. There may be no words, no enlightening realization, but the existence of peace is self fulfilling. Having that sense of peace, holding on to it as long as possible will be the next best thing to being in a peaceful environment."
