It moved in soon after I met her
My woman's best friend and my dog's worst
now me and that woman get along just fine
but my dog ain't too fond of her feline
sometimes I wonder who's gonna get it first
She likes cats and I like dogs
she knows where it's at and keeps it all together
as far as I'm concerned there ain't nothing wrong
but she loves that cat, I got a real mean dog
just as long as that cat keeps runnin', we'll all get along
lord I hope that cat does make it through the winter
if it doesn't I know it'll be a cold cold year
if that cat ever does slow down
I was thinkin' 'bout buying her another down town
but where am I ever gonna find a cat with just one ear.
