We had alot of bad times
We shed alot of tears
And I guess we should admit it
They weren't the best of years
I can't say I wasn't happy in a way
on the day you walked out
And it didn't take me long
before I learned to live without
But when I think about the good times
all the laughter and the love we made
how you loved to sit beside me
riding in my '80 chevrolet
and Oh sometimes you know I miss those days
back when you were mine
but it don't hurt me very often
just when I think about the good times
Blinded by the passion
I guess we couldn't see
from where we were standing
where we wanted to be
when I gave you that ring babe
I thought I knew what I had found
but some roads only lead to heartache
And I'm glad I realize that now
