Casey wears many hats in her chosen field, the titillating world of show business. Her various skills, strong work ethic, and winning personality have kept her gainfully employed ever since she graduated from New York University with a BM in Music Theatre in 1999.

It all began, I am told, at 5 years old, when Casey was watching Child's Play, a game show that was on CBS, that showed kids defining words and contestants guessing the words.  Casey looked up at her mom and said, "I could do that," and the rest was history.

Casey is a terrific entertainer with a warm singing voice, and she dances with incredible style and charisma.  She has performed in Hair, The Secret Garden, A Christmas Carol, Brigadoon, and many other musical theatre productions at the North Shore Music Theatre and Hampton Playhouse.

The highlight of her performing career thus far, was at the Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut where she played the role of Rose (the maid) in a production of George M!, and also had the good fortune to meet me, her future husband.  I was hired to replace someone in the show and it was Casey’s responsibility, as the dance captain, to teach me my position, a job that she relished and will be holding over me for the rest of my natural life.

Casey is also a damn fine director.  She has assisted the lovely Greg Ganakas, one of her teachers from NYU, in numerous regional productions, such as Babes In Arms, Fiddler on the Roof, and Double Trouble at Stage One in Kansas.

In the last few years, Casey has gone solo with directing jobs of her own, and has proven herself to be quite prolific.  She has directed productions of Little Shop of Horrors, Pippin, Honky Tonk Angels, and directed herself in a production of And The World Goes ‘Round at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre in North Carolina, where she was quoted in a newspaper interview, saying, “I came here to direct this show, and that is exactly what I am going to do.”  This coming Christmas, she will be directing a production of A Christmas Carol in Plano, Texas, bringing a little holiday cheer to the south.

Anyone Casey works with will tell you that she gives herself whole heartedly to whatever project she is working on.  Her love of theatre and her commitment to finding the joy in the people around her is evident in every production in which she is involved, whether she’s on the stage or sitting in the directors chair.
