ANTWERP 2002: In Antwerp the police, they must notify that people whithout papers are living on a certain address, they declare simply that they are not living on this address at all. This causes problems for these people, because nobody can find them, also the letters from the governement they can no more recieve them. So if these people must recieve letters from the governement, with invitation to go to the court or to come the governement, they can never recieve these letters. So these people can arrange nothing, because they have no legal address. For many things here, you needs an address. If you have no address, many things you can not do. This is a politic here in Belgium, and specially here in Antwerp. You don't give an address to the people, so that the people that you don't like to have in your country can nothing arrange. They can no take a bank account, no social security ... |
ANTWERP 2003: Social organisations in Antwerp propose to people without income, without right on social help to go to work in the prostition. In january 2003, I asked financially help for an African women by a social organisation "De Mutsaert", when they saw the situation a women who has delivered a baby in december 2002, they propose me that she could go to work in prostitution. This is Belgium, the land of child abuse, the land of DUTROUX Marc, where even the official organisations organise prostition. I think here also on the community of Antwerp, where they installed an center for prostitution. This idea was coming when Leona Detiege was the master of the city of Antwerp. When you know that this women is a member of the Socialist Party, you can see how you can trust these political party. This is what they are calling Socialism in Belgium. All these things shows me one thing, the racist mentality here in Antwerp. It has no matter what happens with these black women. The white people find them such much more then the black community. |
